Marc Kligman is the founder, owner, and sole general agent for TCSM.
 
Marc has been a member of the state bar of California since 1995 and was certified by the Major League Baseball Player Agent in 1999.  He is an experienced trial attorney, paid speaker, a designated Salary Arbitration Expert by the MLBPA, former law professor and long time baseball coach.  He endeavors to make the world a better place by inspiring and helping others.  Marc's infectious passion shows in all he does. 
 
Marc was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Stamford, Connecticut.  Marc attended King School in Stamford, graduating with high honors and earning 10 varsity letters in football, basketball, and baseball.  Marc attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating in the top quarter of his class while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in both International Relations and Hispanic and Italian Studies.  Marc attended Tulane Law School, graduating with cum laude honors while developing his love for the courtroom.  
 
Marc headed straight to the San Diego County Public Defender's Office, opened his own private criminal defense
firm after 3.5 years and began building his athlete representation firm.  
 
 

Marc loves teaching and coaching baseball and has done it at a high level for the last 25 years. 

 

In 2019 and 2020, Marc taught as an adjunct professor of Sports Law at at UNLV's Boyd School of Law. 

Marc holds a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Practitioner 4 Rank in Krav Maga, and enjoys playing basketball, running, yoga, and working out. 

Marc is married to Laura, also an attorney who practices Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning law, and they have been blessed with two sons (Elie 21 and Ari 19) and a daughter (Tova 21).  Oldest son Elie was drafted in the 20th round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals but passed on the professional opportunity to play college baseball.  He is on a full baseball scholarship at Division I Sacramento State University. Younger brother Ari committed to Sacramento State and will be pitching for the Hornet and to his brother this season.  Daughter Tova attends UCLA.
